"Dearly Beloved in Christ,

   "We would like to offer salutation to you and all who keep the commandments of God.

   "We are writing because after much prayer, we feel we are to inform you specifically concerning the plans just made by the Roman Catholic Church in Africa.  If you have been a part of our ministry for a while, you will know that we have never sent a letter like this asking for help over many years of our ministry, so writing like this is unusual, but we are in an unusual situation.  In fact, we have not said anything like this before but the situation is so serious that if things do not turn around immediately, Africa may turn totally to Rome.  We are in a serious religious battle, and the truth of God's Word and His true Sabbath is at stake!

   "The Roman Catholic Church is consistently planning her multi-million dollar African Centre for Roman Catholic Studies.  This is the same Catholic Church that admitted to laying hands on the fourth commandment and substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week for the observance of the Sabbath - the seventh-day, which the fourth commandment strictly enjoins. (Exodus 20:8-11).  The church, in her Christ-like garment, is now presenting to Africa a fair front, covering her horrible cruelties of the past.  Unfortunately, millions of Africans who do not know prophecy do not understand that the papacy, which even so-called Protestants honor today, is the same that ruled the world in the days of the Reformation when men of God stood up at the perils of their lives to expose her iniquities.

   "Our people need inspired direction to understand and feel what is behind the establishment of this religious centre for studies.

   "This is the reason we need to ask, could you please pray about sending us some books and old Bibles?  Your booklets, whatever the quantity, will help us get over this situation and launch off into all parts of Africa with the ability to minister God's true love to them, telling them about the true Sabbath and the false Sunday-worship.

   "Please join us and let us use your booklets, tracts, Bibles, and correspondence courses to show the people where we are in prophetic history and seek to raise up the spirit of true Protestantism, awakening Africa to a sense of the value of the privileges of religious liberty that have been so long enjoyed.

   "We thank you in advance for praying about helping us with your booklets, tracts, and Bibles.  We need as many copies as you are able to send!

   "God bless you.  We really do love you and count it a privilege to serve the Lord.  Enclosed is a picture (below) of our library that we need to equip with spiritual materials.

   By God's grace, and through the faithful support of dedicated workers for Christ, His Marvelous Light Ministries was able to send this young pastor a shipment of Bibles, witnessing booklets, and tracts to distribute among his congregation and local neighbors.  But there are MANY more requests just like this that, due to low funds, we have been unable to fill.  If the Lord touches your heart in this area, please feel free to donate to this most worthy, soul-saving cause, so that as many precious souls as possible may have the opportunity to hear the truth and accept the Lord into their hearts!  Any gift, however small, can result in giving a person the most valuable gift of all - eternal life!
